Canadian Rocky Mountains 2011

Morning CascadeRR

thanks for posting funny.

this CPR M sub is over 280km.. and the Laggan sub soon coming even bigger....

The real challenge is not the creation of the Subs but keeping the boat floating on the Tsunami waves once in while surprise us from down under.

I do my best to keep things organized and working but am limited to what they allow you to do in the best case.

just tried to install the little "fix" one form N3V called proudly announce but for me not working and bet i am not the only one.

Roy

Paul great vid pop pop I know the vid and music is great thanks!
I just "finished" as best as I could to replace again yes again the grass to avoid the ugly pop pop and used ST-1 grass from Jan but getting rite of one problem brings another one i solved originally with ST-2 grass is floating objects on slopes which with ST-1 grass is worse so i deleted many many many which did not fit kept floating bet you understand so if you still see floating once remember that once Jan updates this summer or fall ST-02 we can replace again to original and the floating is less pronounced or just not visual.

Roy

Derek i still enjoy very much every time you post great shots and history, most appreciated. Now we have to mark the post picts as SP1 or older version shots.
thanks many thanks.

i am still waiting for the route to be fixed,i am not installing it back until i know its stable

Morning,

I understand from your post you are fully aware that that route was running well without a hitch in 49920 and even after i fixed 3rd party stuff in 57720 but the hotfix Sp1 threw new fireworks into the game. you are just waiting for me to fix their stuff to make my route work again in this latest "release".

not all bad news sometimes funny too... I run 2 consists going E one took the Mc Connaught tunnel the other one the Mc Donald tunnel as picts show them both at the East side heading for Lake Kinbasket. After taking scenery shot this happened yes a derailment i could not imagine first why and than saw to my big surprise a small consist called "Hotfix Sp1" unit heading East ignoring the red signal at Wakely 75.0D haha and first time I see a derailment taking out only 2 cars from the 25 container consist and in all the emergency consist loco crashed with 2 container cars from the other consist into the deep, never seen afterwards.....ouch.
Now the funny part the consist hit ended up in 2 parts still alive and i could re unite them and continue the trip. Is that normal or just plain fun surprise......

I put the little emergency consist back on track and now it responds to the red signal so it was just a freakn real accident some driver sleepin....

Even with all the things I have to clean up for them the driver experience makes up for all the headaches and looks really good.... worth the pain...kind off.

I would go ahead an install it again. So far, seems like it is pretty good. Just remember how to fix that one spline, which Roy showed earlier.

most of my consists are out of service and other stuff in my dbase ready for usage if I need when building my routes..... All the work i would not bother to much but most concerning and annoying is the attitude and arrogance I call it of the other party.
Those guys teach young people the wrong story how to do business, behave well mannered and yes still run a successful business the way i did way back and yes i have seen many and even worse and they call that .....umpfff sensor kicks in place and tells me shut up people know just try to ignore it.

Paul the little repair i told you is part of the spline track concept problem, displacing objects you place on the network might get displaced wrong side away from original position.
the other one is where really the spline gets screwed or better the object like an intersection road and or a switch with splines embedded...

57825,57722,49922 work fine now and "under control"

Paul, all,

not sure if this post will answer things but still post it try to help out and today back to my Laggan sub adventure.
2 3rd party deps "fixes" 57720 and 57825 in the deps page list you can use in any TS12 release (also 49922 yes)
I think even the 1.0.5 release would do better in 49922 and for sure 57720 and hotfix.
ChrisD thanks again for pointing to the link that makes things even smoother now in ANY TS12 release Win64 bit based of course.

Again for ATI users yes DX is working more than sufficient and very smooth as long as you not leave the app risking to hide the forests.

interesting to see that dust still not settled on what some insiders call (all works well and problems are exceptional).
I forgot who but thought it was Dermmy or ??? stating N3V i.o. having "beta" testers (no pun intended to them) throw the beta results onto the forum members and ask them to test and make it more fool proof than what was delivered now.

CPR freight just east of Revelstoke

A CPR freight train (circa 1960) is just leaving Revelstoke.
