Dear Bob,
The reason i did post to you was to avoid more people would post in this thread picts and than Roy would miss the point and purpose. You are still our friend and one of the first and longest you know that. I am for being Thai stronger than most and maybe use wrong words. You not have to take away any picts from this thread absolutely not, nothing changed from our side just I worried it start becoming an open post your pict thread.

Well the lake is wide enough for my 17 foot catamaran to do some great sailing... and this is what i have to say from the new pic:

***** ********* ***** ****** ***** **** ***** **** **** *** and ************ ****** ***** ********** ******* ******* ***** ****** nice!!!!!!

bob, Ning has a day off and went to the gossip circle on the mountain behind us, I will direct this post te her don't worry, be happy.

Roy;)

@cabuse
sailing in mountainous terrain even big lakes is not what it looks for sailing. i sailed all my life till the trainz bug hit me 7 years ago and I got some major back problems solved right now.
Winds on a mountain lake is come from all directions and unpredictable and T storms are more violent than n open water.
Lake Kinbasket is a real lake fed by the Columbia river.... Bt guess you know that already.
Guess your ****** could be many things but closest to darn or f....... But the end is nice as always. thanks cabuse.
Tonight I drink a singha on your health.

@davesnow haha let me tell you a secret well kept if I would speak and write thai without google or so I would keep up with you but i decided NOT to learn thai to speak and that's why Ning instead has to speak english which is more effective and useful. Yes I can pick up things follow conversations to a certain point but no ral talking no need for it too those i talk to speak enough english and all other thais its swadee kap etc etc enough to be well mannered.
Korat yes we pass every month when wo go play bowling in Pattaya and escape the silence of mother nature where we live in the NE meet some friends cosy dinner and my coffee time at our black canon coffee shop in the big mall. Its only a merely 7 hours higway drive from here so nice landscape and full of idiots left and right with a driver license that seems to make them even look more stupid than they already are.
thanks for the nice comment and for the objects stream you and many fine tainzers produce to make my project possible, thanks for that From the bottom of my heart.
I think you and most trainzers agree with me more than 100% that texturing and great scenery and big with good smooth trainzing is more than we can ask for right?
FPS is not that important to the extent where even 12 to 15 even 8 to 10 fps is 'smooth' depending if run it in directx or opengl......this is personal experience on a daily basis. the natural hickup all video games lag from we cannot solve here just distact people from the detail to the big picture and all falls smoothly in place if you have the right eye for it.

Warmest regards,

roy,Ning, n Djoetje

Wow you guys are right on time with the snow, the mountains of MT (where I live) got a foot of snow last night, more accually. Great and accurate pics (literally:hehe:)!

That's not fair! I wish it would snow in Illinois! Rail fanning in the snow would have been great considering that's what I'm doing today.

eh not having enough wood for the stove and having to shovel the deck all day has its downsides (I accually did some railfanning from my deck:hehe:(in 15 degree temps lol (accually not bad)))

Snow has many faces, look and feel

Mondaymorning around 4-5 we will post the first seasonal snow As an experiment and hope people give their impression on the look and feel. It is a first attempt to create snow in various forms from dirty to drift and other variants.
since the replace asset will ruin my routes at this moment running this on textures I have to accept for the moment being that certain old 3rd party textures old and not seasonal. Once the routes are launched I will look for a way to get them replaced. thanks for your understanding.

Hi Roy:

I have absolute confidence that you will be a fine purveyor of snow scenes based on your fabulous Bonnet Glacier scene that you have in message #846 in this thread. As a proud Canadian I can confidently say that I know snow in all of its variations very well. Our normal annual winter snow fall is over 3 meters where we live in eastern Canada (10-12 feet for our American Trainzers). Your timing is perfect with early snows falling in parts of western Canada the last few days. We are getting our first frost of this autumn going to -2 C.

Keep up the great work.

Cheers,

Derek
