Canadian Rocky Mountains 2011

Roy & Ning,

News from Thailand is close to home for us Aussies. It is a popular holiday destination for many of us. To us the Thai culture is generally regarded as very friendly and is one of the reasons we come back again & again. When we hear about trouble over there is hits the heart particularly when we think of the friendly people we meet over there on holidays.

I hope all returns to normal soon. Good luck & be safe.

Rob

Hi Rob,

thanks for the kind post but wishful thinking is what we can say but wishes are not for this world anymore, just look around you everywhere, what a mess.
villans and crooks are protected by law especially all the big companies with their slick lawyers(sharks), those who obey the law are are stuck by the system and eaten alive by the sharks.
situation here worsening by the hour and it is absolutely criminal how tv stations like bbc all of them always interview the villans and their supporters hailing the coup and the army and the faraos, spreading incorrect news.

Roy:confused::n::'(

Hi Roy & Ning,
Is all OK over there? I assume the political unrest has prevented you from posting screen shots and nothing more sinister.
Just checking to make sure you're OK.

Rob

Hi Rob,

thanks for asking, NO nothing here is ok this is a complete bad joke, charade, name it, is time to save my savings or what is left, i am now working on that where possible.

Yes we are not in jail, nor at the wrong time at the wrong place some lunatic place a device or similar.

Have a great week.

getting the hang of it, reskinning, time consuming as ever though

Well Never real happy with results make things grow in experience and quality alike i think.
Please do not hesitat to share your opinion to allow me to add more quality where needed as tunnelvision is a major part of a trainzer's life.
Post your opinion it is aprreciated.
what i try is to fiddle with weathering in different ways and classes and simulate here walkways looking dirty, worn wet whatever the eye likes to make of it, i think i achieved a pretty good level without having real reskinning skills just doing it once in a while over the years using new software.

HI Roy,

I love the weathering you've done. Since you've invited comment :) the very faint logo, which says "The ????? of Train?" should go. :o

cheers,

Froobie,

hawkeye froobie, i forgot this detail to hide/delete from another older reskin..

thanks for the tip, rather quiet so many views but only you seem to be able to find the keyboard to post these days, well have to get used to that.

Roy:eek:

Some nice work there Roy.
I do a lot of aircraft re-skins but the only weathering comes from the image/photo I graft from. To be honest, the resolution is nothing like what you have there so the weathering tends not to feature much anyway. I wish I could offer useful words of wisdom but I have nothing. :(
Nice screen shots though. Keep it up.

Froobie,
I've seen/downloaded some of your resent re-skin work (Canadian thread). Impressive stuff. I imagine some of those locos will work nicely in Royz World.

Hi all,

rod725: Thanks for the nod. Ben Neal deserves a wave too.
I couldn't resist...

The CPR had only two 4-8-2s, #2900 & #2901.

Hi Rob and Michael,

thanks for posting and sharing information and nice steam stuff that would do well on my routes for sure,
btw i not pretent to be reskinner at all just fool and fiddle once in a (long)while with maps to see what is possibel and than move on again building Canada in Trainz, ouch a long way to go step by step.

Roy;)

Real TRAINz Dispatchers WANTED needed soon on a Laggan SUb route near you!!!

Hi Rob,
The thai yellow dust settles and the country shows more like a soap opera if it was not that serious.
The military general now becomes the PM the constitution rewritten and anything else that protects and give all power too the royal/yellow jackets and army.
Demcoracy has many faces and it is like a south american republic recepy with a golden/yellow packaging looking like a Clingdom ready to vanish not to far away.
Medieval practices not fit in a real for the people by the people modern democracy.;)

BACK to trainz at this moment i am, in between other things, vigerously testing the frist and best Dispatching session ever seen (lol) for my routes.
Henk Koster, an avid a respectful user of my routes, designed a superb session for automatic and one for dispatcher manually where you are in control of more than 2 handful of long consists concurring the Canadian
Mountains on the Laggan Sub.
Later also for the CPR Mountain Sub avaiable but first the Laggan Sub section West!!
It isa a geat piece of scripting by Henk and we first release soon the Dispatcher session somewhat later the automatic one.
YOU WILL LOVE IT!!!!

Let me know who is in for this it is absolute fun to let the route fill up with lots of consists and than clear switches signals etc in an absolute stunning Scenery, never a dull moment.

enjoy

Hi Roy,

I'll keep from commenting on the political situation over there in case I offend someone. I'm not at all up to speed with the situation so it would be unwise at best. Needless to say... Glad things are a bit more stable now.

The dispatching session sounds very interesting. I look forward to seeing the results.

This week I'll be releasing some new aircraft that should be of use to you when you come to Calgary Airport (and Vancouver Waterfront). Keep an eye on the "New Aircraft" Thread. (Sorry about the thread bounce).

Keep up the good work.

Rob

Morning Rob,

sorry for the late reply. Here still Marshall law etc etc so yes we both know what is not going on here in the land of the yellow Pharaos anno 2014!
Thanks for the info and I continue first recreate and finish Calgary before going Westward.
A the moment Java bugs me enormous and scripting errors flood me and simply cannot get java installed/updated properly in win8.1. Not only Trainz has its days for sure windows is ready for retirement too that is sure.
No pictures yet but not to long.
