can trainz 12 nv3 work on windows 8

Anyone tried 8 with TS10?

I run TS2010 on Windows 8 on my PC (no touch screen) just fine. I have some CM3.3 crashes some times- once it took quite a bit of time and effort to get it back- but unless I download too much at one time from the DLS black pages, it seems to be OK. Rebecca

Hey, I'm using 8.1 and mine runs fine, (Trainz 12). I haven't found any problems yet. I'm running this on my laptop without touch-screen, mouse and a PS 4 type controller I have, (not for Trainz), I didn't want a touch-screen because I've about how people have had issues playing some games, me, I stick with a good'ol mouse and keyboard.

Well ,all I can say is try a few versions of LINUX like Ubuntu and Fedora...They also seem to be going towards the touchscreen interface... Of course Linux offers offshoots like MINT that do not use the touchscreen interface , so at least you can pick what style you like.
