Can one identify and asset in surveyor ?

In the past, I have replaced portals that were not working with ones recommended on this forum but I can't go back far enough in the forum posts to retreve that info.

I also thought that using the " ? " tool would give me an id of assets but I can't get that to work.

Is there a special way to reveal the identity of assets on a route so that I may choose them to be used where I want?

In the lower left of the objects tool, below rotate and to the left of delete, is a button that looks a bit like a wrench coming down on a red dot ("Get Object"). You can click on that button then click on or hover over an asset in surveyor and get the description. As long as that button is live, you will get the description of whatever you roll over.
