Can I use my copy of ProTrain Perfect 2 on another computer?

I have an copy of Protrain Perfect 2 an an expansion. However, that was on my old computer, that's since then been broken. Is it possible to use these copies (along with the serial code) on another PC?

You should check the licence agreement that came with the software. However, every time I upgrade my computer I re-install software that was on the old. The programs on the old hard disks are either removed or otherwise destroyed. For most programs you never own the software but have the right to use the software on a single computer. As long as you don't operate that software on two or more computers then there should be no problem.

Hi there,

Without being silly about it, you can install and run on as many PCs as you want. I have 15+ PCs and have Trainz etc installed on most. However, I only play on one PC at any given time. It is good to have more than one installs as I find often some of my PCs are doing other jobs, such as imaging hard disk etc. PTP 2 should install on a 2nd PC without any problems.

Having said all that, I support Auran / PTP and buy each version of Trainz & / or ad-ons multiple times. I very much appreciate their excellent policy on software install and use.
