Can anyone identify this?

I found a particularly neat little station comprised of components. I managed to copy/paste it to my working board. Now, when I wanted to duplicate the awning in a couple of places, it absolutely refuses to be identified. Both end points of the spline can be moved and height-adjusted, but the "Get" button will not get the KUID. I have tried every angle from every position and still cannot get the KUID to show. My last hope is that someone can identify what this is and give me a name. Evan a partial name will help because it obviously has to be found in CMP.

I looked on the DLS under glass, canopy, station and roof, and could not find the platform cover in the picture. I did find some nice ones though! Good luck Bill, I have no clue.

I always run with Show KUIDs turned on. My OP mentioned that the "get" tool won't work. I can't "get" the spline so ShowKUIDs dowsn't change.

Don't know. I can't get it to show up in my Objects -> Splines panel - "Get" doesn't work.

look in splines. Glass canopy. I'd don't trains open at the moment so I can't get you the exact name. But I can verify that it is a spline and if you look in the building section (non splines) you find the asset called GABLE END. which close the canopy. Back in splines you'll actually find two versions. also in splines, you'll find the sides Arches and Columns. If you like I can look up the exact names for you.

I think your right Jamie, that does look like the AJS Station Canopy spline, I think once it is set, you can determine the height of the canopy, there should be AJS Spline walls that go with it.

As with the item not being able to be selected, which needs to be found, I have noticed this with a speedtree group, they are in the Built-in Glasgow to Falkirk route in Trainz 2010, around the Falkirk Station area, just outside the town, these too cannot be selected and found. I too have no idea how to solve this prolem, but it seems certain items within Trainz cannot be selected to be found.

Looking at the above it would appear that the solution just might have been found.

If not, it may just be worth checking to see if you can pick up your canopy spline item in the Track flyout rather than in Objects>Spline mode.

I was truly stumped a while back looking for a "lost" item and then found some catenary splines in the Track section. I also found some river splines there as well!

In addition to teddytoot's reply there are also 14.5, 24.0 and 43.5 meter wide versions. Also there are barrel/rounded roofs available.

Ah. Thanks to Casper, John, and everyone else. I have it located now. Even as I put down more sections of the canopy, I am still unable to "get" it for later use. I have put it into my pick list though so I can use it. This makes the third or fourth item that cannot be "gotten". I really wonder why that happens. It isn't showing any warnings or errors and there is a KUID listed in the config file so ... ?

Have just put 1 down and couldn't use the get tool, however using the spline properties tool and mousing on the arrow thing at the top of the spline lines gives you the asset name.

Thanks for confirming that, Fran1. I have found other items that you have to hit a sensitive spot to "get" what it is, but I was totally unable to "get" this spline.

Getting and remembering are 2 different things.
