Can anybody recommend an US route from 1950s for TS12?

Hello, I have many rolling stock for Steam/Transition Era and I would like to use them in any good North American route from 1950's. I have Whiteshore, but it's not suitable for my plans. I would like to find a route at least with two stations with industry tracks where I could use waybill or car card system for handling and following freight cars.

I also have some streamliner trains, so if this route would have passenger stations, it will be better :-)

Thank you for any help...

Your question caused me to do some research this morning.

<kuid2:70337:678419719:1> Toronto Rail Lands 1954 - Not much industry but good passenger stations.

<kuid:515942:100899> 1950s Glory Years USA - Valley Run - More of a model railroad route but might meet your criteria. Needs some repairs and finding non-DLs assets might be tough.

Dermmy's East Kentucky 3 ST v1.0 - Certainly has enough industries and passenger stations but no city to city.

Finally I have to point out the built in N&W route is set in the 50's I believe and sort of meets your criteria too.

Post in this thread if you find something you really like since it sounds like the kind of thing I'd like too. :D

You'll find several of my routes based in the 1950s, that are available in TS12, and Tane, and are industry active. Click on my sig below to access them.

MSGSAPPER's 'Indiana Western,' 'Kiowa County Southern' and 'Maine Central Portland Division' was made specifically for the 1950's. Several people have made steam era versions of the uber-popular 'Highland Valley' route. Cmoehrle also made a version of the legendary model railroad Virginian and Ohio, set in the steam era called 'Virginian and Ohio Steam Era'. There's also the 'AransasPassTerminalRwy' and the 'AransasPassTerminalRwySP2', both made by maxwerks. Unfortunately, I'm not able to tell what the difference is between the two. maxwerks also made the 'HobokenShoreRR'. There's also two things from third-party websites, who's websites are listed in the description of the route. He (maxwerks) has also made '25thStTerminal' and 'AbileneTexas' set the era you're looking for. I found these having 'steam' in the title with the category 'Layouts' and also 'steam' in the description with the category also being 'Layouts'. Also, try doing the same thing, though replacing 'steam' with 'transition' (as in transition era), or '1950' (NOT 1950's, as '1950' will result in more results than '1950's').

I have EK3, but never thought about it as 1950s route :-).

I also noticed built in N&W route. I just replaced original tracks by tracks used in Whiteshore, because I didn't like Auran track in N&W. But this is a huge route and I have a little bit problem with fps.

I didn't know your site. I downloaded and installed Murrysville & Western. It seems to be very interesting for me ;-). I plan to download and try bigger routes later.

Thank you guys for your advices. It seems I will start with model layouts first, they seem more useful for beginning with car forward and handling. So I will try Virginia & Ohio and Murrysville & Western first.
AbileneTexas is good as well, but it's only about yard switching. I also consider using some routes from MSGSAPPEER.
