That is one beautiful train, the Silver Lady was always a pretty train, even in its final years of operation as the Rio Grande Zephyr, that route is beautiful also, looks like Trainz-Italia got it geographically correct, it definately looks like that area of Colorado, I grew up there so am familiar with the area.

On a side not, the D&RGW usually ran the power in earlier years in ABBA configuration, unless they were pulling the train with Alco PA's, then it was usually ABA.

If your wanting to do the Rio Grande Zephyr, then convert an old PB1 unit to a steam generator car, and then run a smoothside combine as well, and that would be what the train looked like in its final years of operation before Amtrak took over in 1983........:D :D :D

These are F7s, so I guess it would be later,, Did they run 'em that way?
I may have to skin up a Rio Grande Zephyr!,,

Note:, I actuially rode the RGZ on one trip when the PB-1 AND the smooth side combine were in the shop!!, I was delighted at the A-B-B engine set without that combine!:D

The Rio Grande started out running the Zephyer behind Alco PA-PB-PA 1's, those turned out not to be so reliable so they started running F3's, F7's and of course, F9's, during the 50's and early 60's it wasn't uncommon for them to run an ABBA lashup, in the later years, toward the end, they were usually running AB-Steam Generator-B lashup.

Is this train available for download??????:udrool: :mop: :udrool:

i have a feeling i will never get that train. I sent PMs to like 5 different people that offered to send it to me, and all the time nothing happens

@Hoboron-
How did you get the interior of the dome to work?
I have the full set, although a few cars dont want to work.
Am i missing something?
Hopefully, someone can point me in the direction of the good Zephyer.
Cheers,
Sean

Click on the dome car then select cab view and it will put you inside where you can rotate the view around.

Cheers

AJ

yeah, ive tried that.
I am seemingly also missing the dome/observation car as well, maybe it doesnt work, or what ever, but anyway, nice screenshotz Hoboron.
Cheers,
Sean
