On a side note, the D&RGW usually ran the power in earlier years in ABBA configuration, unless they were pulling the train with Alco PA's, then it was usually ABA.
If your wanting to do the Rio Grande Zephyr, then convert an old PB1 unit to a steam generator car, and then run a smoothside combine as well, and that would be what the train looked like in its final years of operation before Amtrak took over in 1983........
I need The Zypher...thanks for reminding me.
Looks good!
These are F7s, so I guess it would be later,, Did they run 'em that way?
I may have to skin up a Rio Grande Zephyr!,,
Note:, I actuially rode the RGZ on one trip when the PB-1 AND the smooth side combine were in the shop!!, I was delighted at the A-B-B engine set without that combine!
Maybe if I knew your e-mail,,,,,,,,,,Could someone e-mail the cars to me too?
Send me your e-mail,, Ronyeah, ive tried that.
I am seemingly also missing the dome/observation car as well, maybe it doesnt work, or what ever, but anyway, nice screenshotz Hoboron.
