Butter/Nutter!

Recently downloaded kuid # 75943:39700:1 or 'Colac Butter factory'. No problems in respect to the download, but when accessing the produce/consume capabilities of the asset there didn't seem to be any!. On reffering to the config files of the model there seemed no indication of tracks used (three roads, each with triple gauge trackoptions ). My tack was to delete the existing track/s and replace with 'Multiple New Industry'however this option dosn't seem to be readily available. Any knowledge re this anomally would be useful if there's to be butter for the bread!.

Should have stayed on the farm and churned out( excuse the pun ) a block of 1oo% natural.
Comment from the asset's creator ( Jerker ) could be edifying.

G'day rossstringer,

I'm not quite sure I understand the nature of your 'complaint', here, Ross (is it?). Nowhere in the asset's 'description' does it state, nor are any of the usual 'iconic' indications provided in the thumbnail to show, that this asset is, in any way, Industry Active, which, from where I sit, goes a long way to explaining the complete lack of any produce/consume capabilities. If you want an industry that actually works for you, then I suggest that you look elsewhere and delete this one from your system. Incidentally "Multiple Industry New", is NOT a type of track (even though that is, apparently, the form it usually takes) but a sub-set asset of the 'kind industry' and although I have no objections to you modifying the config.txt to make this asset 'work' for you, I suspect you are going about this the wrong way...

...you may find the tutorial recently released, here, of some use in that regard...

G'day Garry,

Thanks for setting me right on the 'Colac' my apologies for any inference that the model should have come 'Industry Active'.
I'd be more inclined to look into making the asset produce and consume than delete at this stage and will study the directions towards those ends that are contained in the link of your above post, cheers for that.
Good to see some new Industry content on the DLS.

Ross
