Building a train-station, and regulate it

Hello,

I've got a problem with the route builder in Trainz 2010. You see, I can build a station, but i can NOT make the trains stop there, and load and unload the passengers.....Is anyone able to help me? I guess i must have done something wrong with the schemes of the automatic drivers in the route (session) builder.

Bas

(sorry for my bad english, but i'm from the Netherlands;))

Welcome to the Trainz forums, Baskrewinkel.

It is very easy to add interactive stations to TS2010. There are invisible platforms available both on the DLS as well as built into the program.

The invisible stations are clear platforms that allow splines and other objects to cover over them so that the stations can be customized. Andi06 made some kits, which are up on the DLS. Search AJS and his stuff will come up.

Your English is fine. Much better than a lot of what comes from native speakers of the language. :)

I hope this helps answer your question.

Once you have your station placed and have given the driver the instruction to drive to the station, don't forget to also give the command to load or unload or else nothing will happen.

Besides the invisible stations that can turn any platform into an interactive station, there are also pre-built interactive stations available. Some are stand-alone that reproduce a known and recognizable station while others are modules in a set. Search for Apeldoorn KUID2: 70337:28111:2 for an example of the former.

Welcome and have fun building your world,

u r not alone.

i just happen to have that same problem, it seams that it can't do it!

so will someone give some fellers a hand?

There are many things that have to be in place for everything to work. Just so we are talking about the same thing do the following. I will use my own objects for this example but feel free to use any similar objects as long as they have the same functionality. Place:

a section of track
a passenger interactive station
a locomotive on the track pulling a car that can load passengers
in the session rules, driver setup, tell the driver to navigate to the station, then add the load command.

click on the quick drive button, save the route and the session will start.
the train is approaching the station, all the commands are still visible at the bottom of the screen.

the station has taken control of the train and the load command is active

the doors are open and the passengers are boarding.

In the words of a famous trainzer, that's all there is to it. Now you just have to add some scenery and you will be on your way to creating your first route with interactive passengers.
