British Open question

I'm relaying this question from another forum I read as there are more British people on this one. The question is:

"Does anyone know anything about the railroad tracks that are next to Royal Lytham & St. Annes where the 2012 British Open is being held at? How many trains run on this route, etc?"

This appears to be the Line into Blackpool South. However checking with National Enquiries I cannot find any service that runs on the line.

Looks like there's an hourly service, at 02 past the hour, from Preston to Blackpool South calling at Lyham at 23 minutes past and St Annes on Sea at 29 minutes past. Trains return from Blackpool South to Preston at 44 minutes past the hour calling at St Annes on Sea at 52 minutes past and Lyham at 58 minutes past.
