Bridges overlapping and glitching

Not sure where to post this but anyways...
How do you allow a scenery item, with a spline built into it, to connect to ANY spline that is clicked on top of it? I went into my template's CCP, and the "attached-track" container. Earlier, I made the default spline on it the Grey S&C Girder Bridge side, so it could properly be aligned with the track. The problem is, that the template doesn't connect with any of the other colors of girder bridge sides from S&C. It only works with the grey side. When I just place a girder side spline without trying to mount it on a template, it glitches and flashes over the default grey one.

Others here might know exactly what you're talking about, and I have an idea, but it might be quicker to post Screenshots of the issue you're having....

You mention Splines, Bridges, Girder Sides, and I'm assuming inferring this is all to do with track.... Which assets are these? KUID #s would be a good place to start. Particularly for the Templates and the splines that aren't connecting.

As a rule of thumb, the more info pertaining to the situation/problem we have, the easier it'll be to help you solve it.

This is a common phenomenon called blinky-faces in non-technical terms. It's caused by the z-buffer competing with what's underneath it and occurs when the two meshes (3d-surface) are just too close together. The video card gets confused and attempts to display both objects at the same time, but it can't so the surfaces flicker and jump between each other as it draws one and not the other.

In some cases this can be solved by lifting the top object up by a tiny bit, however, this is not always possible. What this does is allow the two objects to display individually. In other cases, such as with track junctions, road intersections, and even some buildings with night-mode meshes, it's impossible to rectify due to objects.

EDIT:

I remembered the terminology a bit later.... This is caused by what is known as co-planar faces. As mentioned above, this is due to two very thin objects being quite close to each other and your video card attempting to display both objects in the same video "space". The end result is the hardware being confused and the blinky faces.

This is what happens when you get old... Terminology goes away with the birds in the autumn!

I'm wiped right now, but I will upload photos in the morning. I made the template in Blender, and also have another pertaining issue. I used a box 3.5x7.0x0.5 in dimensions, and didn't map the textures. I just exported the IM file into the asset file, without bothering about any UV Mapping. In Surveyor, I can change the height, and the text reads (+50.00), but the template isn't actually moving up and down...
