Bridge road problem

Hello everybody,

I'm having some difficulties finding a solution for a bridge road problem.

I want to make a real-life situation.

When you have a look at the screenshot, you will notice that I already placed a highway bridge across the railway line. This could be done after replacing some track, however it wasn't easy.

Within the screenshot you will see 2 ellipse drawings - Under the highway bridge and across the railway line, I would like to place a bridge road. The distance is approx 180 meters.

On DLS I wasn't able to find

a) a bridge road wihout support elements
b) concrete support elements -

Does anyone have a solution

Thank you.

Best regards

I think the AASHTO set of items MIGHT work for you, but I could be wrong.

Hello NCkilla333,

Thank you for your reply.

I had a look at the AASHTO items - downloaded AASHTO Bridge 4Lane Highway NoPiers, and yes this one could be useful in replacement of the highway bridge.

I found two Bridge support items ( no AASHTO items ), however not useful for my issue.

Best regards

b) concrete support elements
Check the DLS for items starting with "RUS Bridge Kit: Opora ruslovaja". That should give you 3 decent pillars.
I know there are more, but cant seem to find them.

Also check for "YARN Bridge01 Support" and "YARN Bridge02 Support".

Hello oknotsen,

Thank you for your reply.

Downloaded the three rus bridge pillars and Yarn bridge support. All will be useful. :Y:

Would you happen to know if there is a bridge support ( single element ) with spline option available on the DLS. ( On the DLS, a specific word ( spelling ) can make a lot of difference ;).

Best regards

Hello Kurt,

A long time ago I did a number of splines for bridge substructures (piers) more suitable for small bridges, it allows you to place them on a skew angle and stretch them to fit the width.

Five assets, called Bridge Pier 1 to 5, I see they are built in to TS10 and 12 now.
