BNSF50's Grade Crossing

Get over it
All of a sudden all of the grade crossing are showing faulty. Corona Red LED BNSF50, kuid2:39134:101129:4, is the culprit. That kuid is obsolete. All l need is a simple crossing that will stop traffic and the gate will close. Without looking through his thousand or so items is there such a crossing? I'm using TRS12 without any patches. Thanks.

Got them. Thanks. Are these to be used with Boat's system (ATLS)? If so please explain how to hook them up. Thanks.

Has anyone else had a problem with these, BNSF's, crossing? I tried downloading some of his crossing and they all show faulty. Kuid2:39134:101129:4 is the bad apple. I did an extended data base repair but no luck and I can't find that kuid. Any suggestions?

Somewhere along the line that corona has been opened on your computer. It's a built-in so that will automatically break it due to the compressed textures. All you have to do is rt clk on it and select edit and then select revert to original and it will be fixed.

I was hoping that you would see this thread and pop in. Thanks. After finding the kuid it wouldn't allow me to revert to original, grayed out, so I said what the heck and deleted it. I now have version :3 only and every thing is working. Was there ever a version :4 and if so what the heck happened? The important thing is that I'm able to use your fine crossing again. Thanks for all your efforts for this game.

Well I'm glad everything is working for you. But I'm curious how you was able to delete V4 corona since it is a built-in and I have never nor am I able to now delete a built-in and with good reason since they are not on the download station but rather in the JA files. No worry's though in this case since version 3 is the highest version I made and version 4 is N3V's built-in version, both are the same except for texture compression.

OT, but built-ins can be deleted from the Open For Edit folder. They will however un-delete next database rebuild/repair....

I've been away for a couple of days withoutT any computer so I'm late responding here. Dermmy, are you saying that the next time I do a database repair I'm going to have the same problem? Oknotsen - I wasn't clear with my statement. I have patched to 49922 and the game runs really nice for me. For that reason I haven't installed any of the later patches. It ain't boke so I'm leaving it alone until the new version comes out. Thanks for taking the time to respond guys.

No, in fact a database repair should fix it as there is no issue with the asset. My OT comment was dircted at bnsf50's querie about deleting built-ins....

I've been out of town for a few days but saw this today.

Hello Dermmy
Yea that will rip the cuts out of the asset but won't really delete it so therefore you wind up with a built-in that won't commit and you can't get rid of it either since it's a built-in. So you'll have to have, in the settings, set to "Don't Commit Assets" when launching or you won't be able to get into surveyor or driver from CM since you now have an open asset that won't commit due to no config file or textures. Not a very efficient solution in my opinion. :)
I think N3V should have CM coded to not look for a .texture.txt file for a compressed texture in the first place. Just my opinion.:o

@ Stouthm:
You don't happen to have, in your settings "Automatically Commit And Reopen Assets" on launch set do you? I don't know why Auran put that one in there in the first place, it never did make any since to me. But that might be your problem if a built in was inadvertently opened. Which happens, I've found a few built-in's in mine that I've had to revert to original because they've been obviously opened and recommitted at some time by CM. But I've never had any problem reverting them.
By the way I have mine up to Build 61388 and am not having any issues.

bnsf50 - I checked on the launch page and couldn't find that option. Where would I find it? On another note I saw three BNSF loco's, not sure which model but they were large, lead a local freight past my house. A little unusual since I live in Southern New Jersey along the Delaware River. Nice to see other loco's besides CSX and NS.

Open CM then "file/settings/miscellaneous/when launching trainz". There's several options in the window. I use automatically commit assets.

Thanks. I checked and I also have automatically commit assets. Everything is working so I'm good to go. Thanks again.
