BNSF Chillicothe Subdivision

I am commencing on a new project - the BNSF Mendota Subdivision from Aurora, IL to Galesburg, IL. I will post a few screenshots when I actually have something done. (texturing and such)

Also, If I haven't posted anything in a while, that does NOT mean that it is vaporware. On the other hand, this will be a long project as I am in the process of building a model train layout as well as in the middle of the school year so bear with me. ;)

EDIT: The title says Chillicothe, but that was my mistake. It is actually the BNSF Mendota Sub, which is located nearby.

The BNSF Mendota Sub goes from Aurora's Eola Yard to Galesburg and is the former BN. The BNSF Chillicothe Sub is from Ft Madison, IA through Galesburg to Corwith Yard in Chicago and is the former ATSF. It'd still be neat though to have some Chicago routes for this game. Considering all the amazing junctions and scenery around the Chicago area I am surprised that no railroad simulator has an up-to-date version of any Chicago area tracks.

The problem with making a Chicago route is that there aren't enough people here that could stay committed for a long time. Also, splitting that DEM and hoping everyone does trackwork, scenery, and signalling the exact same way so it combines flawlessly is a very large gamble, and the chances of it working are slim. It has been tried before, and metrarailboy1 got quite a bit done, actually, but to do all of the Metra routes, inter-city yards, and excessive amounts of custom content, it's just not very plausible.

Thanks for the info, I was starting to wonder why the Chillicothe bridge wasn't on there...
