Blocked at Kirkcaldy

Blown away by the work creating the Dundee to Edinburgh stretch of the ECML - but - keep getting blocked in at Kirkcaldy (Kircuddy) by a lowly commuter train.
Three times I have left Dundee to try to beat it to Kircuddy and failed, I think my fault lies at Leuchars, taking too long to depart.
As someone who loves hauling coal I seem to not know when it is departure time - is it when the timeline re-appears or a whistle from the guard?
Perhaps a little speeding is called for, at least it wont cost me £91 this time

Pleased you like the route. A lot of hard work even now with an update I'm doing.

If your playing the sessions then you need to leave once you have the whisle and green flag.

Never been in the cafe but do hang out in the Whistle Stop pub sometimes. Or like today on the footbridge watching the HST Farewell set going to Ely for storage.

Enjoy the ECML and keep your speed down as we dont want anymore speeding fines.
