Go for it. I think it's more of a case that Amfleets are so scarce that people just wanted anything, especially ones that work in later versions of Trainz.
 
It would be way beyond my ability, and no one would do it for freeware, but it would be pretty cool to have working ACSES displays in any NEC locomotive.
 
For Metroliner Cabs, there is really not much difference except that pantograph and motor is removed, and created a Center door. Cabs didn't change much, only few modern devices are equipped, and that's it really.
 
I wanted to try jumping back on the locomotive horse after botching an RS3 and GP9 quite badly. So I went back to the drawing board and saw someone on another thread talking about Western Pacific GP20s. I never much paid attention to GP20s before, I figured they were just turbocharged GP9s, but they are actually pretty neat. It is like they are in an identity crisis and can't decide if they want to be a GP9 or a GP35. Anyways, I didn't do a WP one, but I did get a chance to play around with a loco shape again.


And no worries - I'm still chugging along on the Amfleets.

JoshEH made one that he never finished and made available for people to finish up.... I got it WAY back before I ever learned how to use Max and I've thought of working on it a few times, but I've been doing other things. Maybe I'll get around to doing something with it. He's done ALL of the hard work. It is just little details that need done.

I was planning on doing either a P30CH or SDP40F as my rebooted from scratch diesel, but I think I'm just going to run with this and see where it goes.

I painted up a test side to see how the louvers looked on the body. I'm not too displeased with the results.

The CB&Q has to be one of the most underrepresented fallen flags in Trainz.

I don't think the colors on this are exactly right - the blue seems too dark. Using 38,43,54 for blue and 252,210,44 for yellow. It's a mix from photographs, but some seem to be a very vibrant blue and others are more subdued. Maybe sun bleaching? I don't know.

The GP20 looks great, Good job on finishing it up & a handsome group of paint schemes you have chosen for it.
 
I lack the scripts, cabs, sounds, and time to dedicate to customer service to ever make payware. Especially the sounds - I can't even locate free 567D2 engine sounds for Trainz.
