Has Auran/N3V caught on to a scam
good on Auran/N3V i say , how much easier is it just to buy the game,?
really on today's scale it isn't expensive at all and anyone that said it is needs to open there eyes.

Ok, what build do you have? Its in the lower right hand corner when you start trainz/launcher. Also, if you click "options" and then look on the general tab, where you see your CD key (Assuming you can get this far), you also have another build number there.

I got my Trainz, but today an error is saying that I have the pre-release version, and that it is expired, and that it can't be used. It says it can only be downladed via a patch! The 'Patch Trainz' button was the next thing I clicked, but now it is saying that my serial is not valid and it is unable to validate! Thanks :'(

Register your TS2010 SERIAL NUMBER with Planet Auran. That way, everyone will know you are not trying to run a pirated copy of TS2010.

Once you have registered your serial number, let us know what build number you have (bottom right hand corner when you start Trainz) and we will be able to post you the download link for the service pack. Installing the lastest service pack to 44088 might fix whatever problem/s you are having...

There are lots (some hundred) of users with registered keys of ts2010 that became "obsolete" yesterday.

We suspect that a lot of these users received their install of trainz through.. shall we say, less than legitimate means? The error message is rather specific.

I'm not going to make accusations here, but the onus is on the individual user to contact our helpdesk if they believe that they have a legitimate copy of Trainz and are receiving that message.

The problem belongs to Auran/N3V Games ... you will find another thread on this issue I started a few days ago.

I purchased a digital copy from Auran in 2010 ... it stopped working a few days ago so I lodged a ticket with Auran and was asked by Zec Murphy, Customer Support Rep, to provide an image of my serial number, which I did.

Overnight the problem was corrected. I have asked for a reason but have so far not received one.

Zec if yo uare reading this, I and am sure dozens if not hundreds of other users afflicted by this problem deserve an answer ....

Whatever, you do, do not uninstall the game or otherwise mess with your computer, it's not your fault.
 
The best thing for affected users to do is to contact Helpdesk, including their serial numbers, and be prepared to be asked where it's from if necessary.

We haven't changed anything on our end. I expect that you changed something on your end while trying to figure out what was going on, possibly relating to the CD KEYs?

If anyone is having trouble and they have purchased Auran/N3V products via retailers or on line retailer then contact helpdesk, give them your info, problem fixed to easy isn't it.

I have a digital copy as well and there is nothing wrong with it at all,
working just fine . I was downloading stuff about an hour ago as well as running the game
