THIS IS NOT A RANT THREAD OR GOOD BIE!!! On that note lets get down to business. So my computer is dying... AGAIN! So I will shortly be rebuilding it. Any who, its to improve performance, and video quality to ensure the best experience possible for me and content creating. I MAY be quiet a little while from all forums, and BNSF for Trainz. I was not able to complete my task and goal I set for the site due to my computer and lack of support. The reason for me going quiet is because I will need time to get things up to speed and get reacquainted with everything again. Maxgenesis-8 will be in charge of BNSF for trainz until I get things figured out. Then again I may still be on. Now, can anyone help me with backing up trainz???:hehe:

UserData and assets.tdx is all you need.

Save your UserData folder and when you rebuild, reinstall Trainz TS12, put in all the patches, and then import the data.

First mishap happened when a graphics card blew up. That put me out of buisness for a year then we replaced that and the power supply. This time I dont have enough RAM, my mother board is dying, along with windows 7 needing to be re installed. Im having to spend more on my computer in a year than I do in a week on Jointedrail. :hehe: Luckily my cousin does computers and Ill have some parts from him. Hopefully my computer will be up to snuff when the new era comes out.

This sounds like an old car. They get to a point where you spend more in replacement parts than you do in a new one. Perhaps your cousin can kit you out with a decent setup. Remember to size the components properly. An underpowered power supply can cause all kinds of damage to the other components as you found out.

Thats why we replaced it. Everything from my power supply to me graphics card is good. Anywho it wont be too expensive as my cousin is sending me the parts in exchange for an old part on my computer. My computer has been going since 2006 so its time to replace some stuff. And my cousin is setting me up real nice right now.

Computer Parts Are In!!!!!!! Ill install them and hopefully fix up my computer for the next era when that come out.

Well, guess what. After many hours of work, parts gathering, and lots of Mountain Dew, I did it. I finally successfully rebuilt my own computer which BTW runs so much smoother than it used too. Im so happy now. We have windows 8 and its looking good. I will be posting trainz videos and trainz screenies again. I do want to thank JCtron for helping me with installing trainz and running tests
