Bell problems...

Hey there, mav again. Sorry. Im making hornsounds and just can't figure out how to make the bell actually work... is something wrong with the sound? I dont know, so can someone just give me instruction on how to make a bell?:confused:

Which locomotive?

There are a couple where the bell doesn't work perhaps they were never included in the hornsound file.

Any loco, its like pressing "H", this is the shortcut for horn, "B" is the shortcut for Bell. Although some locos i have dont have bells.
 
Also, check you ..\UserData\settings\keyboard.txt file to make sure the Driver Train Bell sound key is b. I had an instance where mine got changed to alt s.

Did you copy a bell .wav file from an existing hornsound kuid or create your own? I had one loco that the bell didn't work. It turned out that the bell .wav file was named idle1.wav instead of idle 1.wav.

BELL SOUND

i think you need to put a space between the e and I,in order for the bell sound to work correctly maverickleader.:) .also,if im correct,you need to make sure the sound format is in mono and not stereo format.

It's e and 1, not I.

But yeah, the lack-of space in the name is the problem.
