Belgium (question)

Hello Mark,

Ref first picture of your above info : How did you make this underground ( especially connecting the wire to the ceiling ? )?

Best regards

Kurt

Hi Kurt,

The tunnel consists of 3 main elements: Concrete wall 2, kuid:2:60238:38161:1, The roof is conc slab, (Various sizes) 100m kuid:30671:3002, Tunnel Catenary Kuid:458053:102047. I used track that comes with overhead wires, at tunnel entrance changed track to one without wires, then start with Tunnel catenary making sure that two wires are the same height and are in line, after which all other splines are clicked out at the same height. Then use conc slab to cover checking height to make it appear wires on roof. Above you can use a grass texture to cover concrete. Using this method allows you to view train from elsewhere other then the roof as with a normal tunnel.

Belgium Railways: Following rolling stock has been used: Loco's HLE 11, HLE15, HLE 13 Cargo, Multiple units: AM73, AM80 Two different paints, Sabena(AM73). Last screenshot is Charleroi-Sud station

I note that since the 89 was renamed M1 that the track from Beaux-Arts via Waterloo to Sud has now been lifted for road widening. Shame.

Hello Mark,

Thank you for the information. The train route is absolutely lovely to see and will be great to take a ride.:udrool:

Ref your reply #63 - Are the stairs ( 2nd picture ) available on DLS?

For info : I know the HLD60 is no longer being used for cargo transport - but a nostalgic train ( HLD 60, HLD62 ) would be lovely to see in your route

Best regards

Hello Mark,

Great to see those HLD's! I simply love the sound they make whenever they make a ride from station to station ( or point to point ).
I could use the stairs within a part of a route which is situated within the French speaking part of Belgium. For the Flemisch part, I will use the Plymouth subway stairs narrow or wide ( with the use of a dighole ).

Best regards

Hi,

Just a couple of other features you may be interested in. The Tram bridge is not a downloadable object, it's made up of Bridge 2t concrete, (2) uk roadsign-post-large and Trolleywire 20m, didn't think it looks too bad.

The first screenshot is a complicated flyover near Leernes.

If you have any comments about his thread feel free.

Hi,

The above tram was from Locarno in Switzerland near the Italian border, the line opened in 1908 and closed 1960.

Hi all,

Just to let you know that I can't leave this route alone, I am now extending the railway from Marchienne-au-Pont to Louviere-Sud. With the branch line down to Binche. So more screenshots to follow. Just to point out that the route is in trs2009 an attempt to put it in TS12 ended in total failure due to the amount of Asset errors.

Hello Mark,

Would you mind telling me the name of the platform tunnel in the first picture?

I'm looking for a tunnel solution for a platform which is laying on a higher level.

Best regards
