Back with Trainz 2019 Gold

After being disappointed with TANE, I've been gone for awhile. I hesitated on the fence regarding Trainz 2019, but after reading posts on the forum, I've decided to give Trainz another try. I decided the Gold sub was best for me, I'm disabled and money is spare. I'm optimistic that the 19 version will get better and better. I think Auran has done a good job making up for TANE, and I think Tony Hilliam is redeeming good will. Graphically, Trainz 19 looks better in some ways, the same in others (still pretty chunky terrain changes, water edges still squared or jagged). That might improve in future. Just wanted to say I'm giving Trainz another try, and hope the future changes keep improving.

I've read some of your posts, and you rightly I assume, complain about content creation problems, and Auran not doing right re Content Creators. Fair enough, I am not involved in any of that, only using the Game as a Driver and playing with my admittedly crappy personal routes, with runs on some quality routes. Two different viewpoints, and opinions. Doesn't bother me if you think Auran's product is bad. I'm giving this new version a try, and if I'm happy with it, then I'll continue my sub. BTW, I run Windows 10 which works fine, sure a lot of people hate that Windows is the only OS that most PC games run properly on, have you tried the many 'Flavors' of Linux? I have, repeatedly, none of them really replace Windows if you are a gamer. Blame the game devs. It is what it is. As for buying future versions of Trainz, I won't automatically assume they don't deserve my money.

Welcome back. Pay no attention to Cascaderailroad. The program as we call it has come quite far since the days of TS12 and T:ANE. It's a world of difference and since I've installed TRS19, I no longer use T:ANE except for an occasional test or transfer and export of content that's I missed in my transfer to TRS19.

With the Gold Membership, you have the opportunity to update right way to Trainz-Plus, which is a updated version of TRS19 with many more features.
