Automatically Load Rolling Stock?

Hi All,

Apologies if this has been asked. I've looked for an answer to my problem without success.

Let's say I want to take a train for a spin. I put down the locos and the rolling stock. In this case, I want to make a 100 car container train. I place the locos, the rolling stock, and have it all hooked up, but...the cars are empty.

Rather than going through each car, one by one, and adding the load, is there an easier or faster way to do this? I believe there used to be a command for loading trains coming out of portals, but none are in the area I want to go for a spin.

I really don't care what exactly pops up when loading but the thought of going through 100 cars is daunting. And what if I delete the consist? Can I save the loaded consist and then reload it later if I want?

Maybe the driver command "instant load" would work for you. I'm not sure about saving the consist. Sorry don't have the kuid now but I thought it was built in and default for driver rules in 2010. You do have to check it though before your session starts.

Awesome! It worked! Thank you! Oddly enough, I did notice two of the same command, but I just tested it out successfully. Some cars had two cars loaded of differing sizes/heights in the same spot, but not too many. This saves me a lot of time: thank you!

In surveyor when you click on a car to load something at the top there a place to have all the cars that are the same to load the product you have selected for that car.

For compatible vehicles, a circular button will appear, with the label 'copy to other compatible vehicles' if you hover over it. Clicking this after setting the load should then copy the load information to other vehicles of the same type in that consist.

Use the instant load with random products command from jointed rail. You get a realistic looking consist with that one.

Instant load 09.
Emit train now is handy as well.

Same. See above though. I did put this in the trainz config -allownoctrlrightclick , so I'm not sure if that might be why hovering over the well cars I want to use does nothing. Perhaps the certain well car is not compatible either. It's all good though...
