Tanvaras, for future reference, a typical Xplorer set will only have 1 EB car between an EA and EC, or just an EA and EC. If required, more sets can be coupled to make the train longer, but the maximum length for a single set is 3 cars. Additional sets can be coupled if necessary. Maximum length is normally 5 cars for coupled sets.

The Northern Tablelands Explorer normally does run as a 2 car + 3 car set but i have seen several times during trips to Newcastle it run as a 3 car + 3 car combo. So anythings possible.

Re the Explorer combinations - Northern NSW:
It is not unusual to have a four car consist on the Armidale Explorer (particularly at the beginning and end of University semesters and Easter).
It's unusual to have more than 2 cars on the Moree consist.

1388... your project looks awesome. I travelled the tramway when visiting SA around this time last year.

It's great to see something a little different here in the Oz Screenies forum.

Jason, brilliant work on the Tram route. Being an Adelaide lad, its good to see some Trams running around :)

Look forward to seeing more.

Mattm, great screen shots as always mate , Keep'em coming.

Cheers

All the encouragement I need:

All this talk of Xplorers got me having a go at something that is supposed to be representative of country in the Moree area, which as far as i can tell from Google Earth, is relatively flat, and consists mainly of wheat fields.

QR Activity of the Last Week Or So

It's early in the morning, and an empty SMU departs Mayne to head to Shorncliffe

An afternoon EMU waits for the right-away at Ascot

After what seems like ages, I finally "mastered" PEV's Attachment Maker program and added headlights to the IMU & Nick06's SMU's. We see it here at Coopers Plains on its first night trip to Varsity Lakes

Finally, the first Westlander since January is seen making a passenger stop at Laidley

BTW Davido, care to elaborate on your sig screenie. Are you going to make that route available for download soon?

The route depicted in the sig/banner is just a circuit around a lake...not very interesting and really only good for screenshot posing.
The banner is for an up and coming website....if I can get my head around stuff:confused::confused:.
Stay tuned
