Trent,

Is it possible to put a couple of 2km long sidings in there for 1800m superfreighters? Maybe on the left?

I gather it uses Speedtreez? Comming along nicely.:D

I can add anything mate :)

Yards are not my thing, and I am quite open to suggestion on them always. Very happy to get criticism on my route, as it helps me make it better for all. I do not have good artistic ideas (So my wife keeps telling me - she is a graphic designer) so all the help via comments is greatly appreciated.

I am using Pofigs trees, which I am pretty sure are speedtree types. So unfortunately I can only release once ready for Ts2010 and 2012.

Should have a few more shots up later tonight, Wife has been kind this weekend and allowed me carte blanche on Trainz :)

Cheers

Cool. I like driving long trains, it's a bit of a challenge, but its anoying because nobody makes any sidings/loops long enough to fit 'em :p

Not cool. Might have to get me a copy of TS2010 with all these routes that are using SpeedTreez

Will add a nice big fat siding just for you mate :)

I am not sure if Pofigs trees will work in Ts2009 SP4, might be worth a looksee

Coming along very nicely, Trent. Does your wife have any qualifications, cause it looks to me like you have plenty of artistic ability...

Compared to me, that is!:p

Are you using Ray Whiley's roads?

While I am here, would this area look alright if I simply added a few trees, or would a few small fields/farm properties look better?

Edit: Ignore the textures, I know they need work!

Cheers,

Matt.

Thanks Matt :)

I am using the built in roads depending on where I am its either NSW Highway 1,2,and 3 or ET Road Asphalt.

My wife is a rather talented lady, she programs website like a demon, I look at the code and see the green stuff like in the matrix LOL But her graphic art is awesome, she sure has some amazing talent.

Surveyor screen shot of "Renfield" as I slowly get it done :)

Reskins of my ancient Suburban Shops 3, by NR121. Just search Suburban Shops on the DLS and make sure 04/UTC is ticked (though I think his latest updates are 09 and above only).

Been meaning to redo these for years... but with over a million and a half downloads for the original, I'm kinda not wanting to reset the counter! :)

Edit - hate it when someone beats me to the posting!

Last one for tonight:
Removed the overhead, as it wasn't right for the look I'm trying to acheive.

ARG container crossing passenger service at Bundy:

*off topic*
Photo that inspired the screenie here. Found it while looking for interesting movements to replicate in Trainz.

Could somebody tell me how often this would happen, as that Endeavor appears to be in the old stock(?) siding! It seems very unusual, especially if it's a revenue pass, heading to Nowra, as it would mean reversing the train to continue the journey. And if it's a Sydney bound train, why not let it run ahead of the freight?

Just wondering.
*on topic*

Also, if that doesn't give it away, Bundy is based on Berry, just oriented North-South, not East-West. Wasn't too careful in placing the basemap i used.

Matt.

I used to live in Kiama NSW for many years and always when traveling to work via the Endeavour service, at Shellharbour/Dunmore most the time we have to go into the siding and await a freight/passenger service coming the other way and then reverse out and come into the platform, used to drive me nuts especially when coming home. I hear they have electrified the line now and would hope its double track to atleast Kiama, but then again NSW Government are good at coming forward LOL.

Cheers

Cheers,

Thanks for the info. Could make for an interesting session or two, once i have a few more K's of track down.

As for the real line, It's still single track from Unanderra, and as far as I am aware electrification ends at Kiama.

And i think you mean the Government are good at going backwards, not forwards!:hehe::hehe:

Trent,

They have built a platform in the loop at Dunmore, to be used when crossing trains at this location. The only location on the South Coast line that requires a train to reverse is at Berry, and that is because the stock siding is a dead end, and the safeworking system they use there is electric staff.
