Here's one looking towards Moorabool from Gheringhap

From research it says it was double track from 1870 till 1910, then when they rebuilt moorabool viaduct they made it single track.

David,

That's an impressive reskin - hopefully the real thing looks half as good as that does! Currently Qube don't own any 830's, although they lease a fair few from Greentrains, and hopefully one day they will take ownership of them and repaint them. A shame there's no 80 class model of similar quality you can have a crack at!

A couple of Dub-ell-yoo Eye Pee shots...

At the eastern (Sydney) end of the map, an IRA train is seen shunting from the container sidings to the refuge at Linton Station, where the locomotives will run around and depart for Sydney. 2208 is on hire from ARG, along with IRA's own 4703 and 4498. Due to the topography of the map, the points for the siding were unable to be connected to the mainline in the direction of Sydney.

At the Western end of the map, 4889 waits with a short rake of loaded wheat hoppers from the branch as a loaded steel train passes by on the main.

With the steel train out of the way, the 48 will head east.

Currently the route is set up between two large towns. While it is not designed this way, it is possible to run container trains between the two towns, along with passenger services. Eventually I would like to extend the route further west/east, along with the branch line, but I'll keep doing it in steps. The route as it is is mostly finished, with a running time of about 30 minutes each way.

Sorry but 4703 is not owned by IRA its a leased unit.

Nice Colours on that loco - it was painted like that to match the team colours of a rugby team === anybody know which one

Leased from LVR yes, although there were rumours that it was being sold by LVR to IRA.

Sorry mate you should not really quote images in your replys best to select and delete them.

Having a very slow day at the slave pit and was thinking about doing the Blayney to Bathurst or Blayney to Lithgow section of NSW anybody working on this - the Oberon branch is already done.

Mr P Gibbbons if you monitoring I am in need of you services again.

Some great stuff in the March Australina Railway History for March great bit on the when the intercapital daylight passed via Cowra and a bit on Tarana - that what trigged my mind on this section of the line --- oh the memories of getting Dad to drive the long way home from the Grandparents farm at Perthville near Bathurst so we could go to nice places like Tarana, New Bridge and downtown Georgies Plains.

Most of the family land is now under Chifly Dam :(

MITCHEY?? :O

Hey everyone!

I'm still around, just been caught up with work and N Scale and... other things. :hehe: I turn 18 tomorrow!

Nice screenies everyone!

Just a message to Vinnybarb, seeing as I can't PM you.

Did you offer to make some telegraph poles for Trainz? I have one I made, in which I can't get into a spline (with wires) or into Trainz.

Would you be able to help please?

Thankyou,

Chris :)

America, Steve. It provided the most amount of items available for the most reasonable price - though I do have an N Scale PN 81 class.

My model is set somewhere in Illinois close to Chicago, with a heavy focus on the BNSF and Amtrak.

Happy Birthday Mitchey
:clap::Y::clap:

Hope you have a great day, now your of age you can go to the Pub (legally this time :hehe:)

Craig
:):):)

Harry, they could be a beta from 'thebigman'

Check the DLS and search Patrick otherwise

Jamie

No they're not my content; I haven't even released a beta of my 40 footers yet . They are one of the CWS models, search under Davido for username, I think they're called Aus 40 foot containers or something like that :).

Cheers,

Matt

BTW: Happy Birthday Mitchey!

Matt is correct, they are "Aus 40ft containers". There are two in my version of trainz, the original one and the one seen on those wagons. I don't know why two versions, but there we are. I certainly prefer using modern containers for companies that I see on real world trains.

Some more WIP shots - any grid that you see has long been taken care of, and I'll post more recent shots soon:
