@ burntruss, flick me an email

I need some help, does anyone have pics of the inside of an L,R or S set

@ Davido, did you model the stairs in your interurban or did you do the same as cjennins and just just place a "view" of upstairs and downstairs on a surface? I've modelled the stairs, that was fun, but I'm thinking of polys

cheers

Regrettably, I do not. I am trying to do so though, I just need an empty carriage. I have a heap of photos from a series 1 ComEng car (tulloch trailer seats) but no idea where they are at the moment. If I turn them up, I'll upload them and drop you a link.

I'm trying to get plenty of interior shots before they vanish forever!

Hi Peter,
I won't be doing the interiors of the V Set, someone else is going to do that. ;)
But if it were me, I'd texture it. I'm not that big on interiors, I like to be trackside anyway.
A lot of work for little gain I reckon....... cabs are an even bigger pain :(
As far as polys go, you can always make a 2 stage LOD and make the hi-res mesh really close.
That way the stairs aren't there unless you are really close up.

Cheers
David

thanks David, I think I may go that way as the poly count tends to climb.

Thanks Raichase, look forward to it, I'm mainly after colours, they seem to be an off white in side with blue seats. If you could get a pic of the bulkheads around the internal stairs with a view of the lower and upper decks that would be awesome.

cheers

Me thinks there needs to be a screen shot posted. ;) ... and I am just the man to do it. :hehe:

A bit of an update on the MGFH's,

I did an test export into trainz today to see how the textures rendered in game,
(The wagon is still a fair way off complete as you can see! :p )

Haven't got real good memories of those trains, ad602000.... they are pretty ugly.

Hey David, you better ring up Railcorp so they can fix up that signal before someone gets hurt! :p Seriously though, wonderful screenshots, those open wagons and the pass cars look very nice! :D (And so do the 44's :p)

Tom :)
