Nice shots everyone... here is something I've nearly finished for my route.... Just a few things to sort out....namely the roof....and Holden sign.... but I like it so far.... :)




I need colhad to make more Holdens ;)

Recieved my 09 yesterday

Bogeys completed for the 1200/1225 class and a new paint job for the 1700 class underway.......enough Gmax I better go to work today.

vtw, davio, is it possible to get your 06 stuff to work in 09 or do you need to do some things on your end? If so that is a bit disappointing for me because the main reason I upgraded from 04 was to use your awesome models but maybe I should have researched some more and gone with one of the other versions.. oh well.. don't take this comment as whining or complaining at you either please. I would just like to know so I don't stuff around for ages with something that isn't going to work.. I don't wanna put any pressure on you because that really isn't fair, and I sure remember what it was like with people complaining :)
 
Congrats Spoony!

For 09, there are 2 'modes'. Compatibility mode (only one usable till we get a good selection of good performing trees made to 09 standards), which will allow 99% of content to work. Only stuff that fails is scripts, for the most part... I do know the 81's and 48's fail, but haven't really looked at what the error is (generally don't run NSW anyway). That said, they still 'work', just the script side of things doesn't work. For 'Native' mode, you'll find that any content that is shown as 'faulty' in content manager will not work in game. You'll also find that models with alpha blending (gray scale alpha channels) will give some weird effects. Alpha masking (pure black/white alpha channel) is the way to go now.

My baby grand daughter arrived at 11.00 am 9 pounds 6 oz (4.5k) 09_03_11
So little Tess and yours share a March birthdate too :wave:

Can you post them as S301 has just above? That way it takes a lot less bandwidth for those not interested. However I for one will want to check them out.
Zec how did you post the thumbnails? It does not seem to be Image Shack?

ps and Glenn, please don't write your messages in capitals, Their is a general opinion here that Capitals are an angry response, and some people get a little cut up about it all. However if you have a vision problem you can type your message and use the sizes button next to fonts above, to print it out in larger type. :)

Just worked out how you did those pictures.
You stored two copies of each scene on Victrainz web site. The first a thumbnail was posted directly to the forum post. Then you hyperlinked each thumbnail to the other larger picture. Pretty easy and saves a lot of bandwidth. Cheers

We just got to get the wheel textures on Bills locomotives fixed :( Those black wheels on the photo perfect rails is just so wrong! Wasnt Peter (ad602000) working textures with Bill?
