 Hi Patchy Your QR Cairns map is Great But 1 small problem and thats missing Dependencies :(

I have gone looking but carnt seem to find the one's that are missing,
any help on where i might be able to get them from or what they might be.

Thanks

A little something, I've called NSW Mukendirt. A pair of 48 class hauling a rake of 14 empty NGXF wagons pause at the country station for safeworking purposes.

The train gone on its way, the peaceful surrounds return to the sighing of the wind in the trees, and the calls of the birds.

QR Cairns map

Dear trainz users

To solve the problem from these three kuid

Unknown Location: <kuid2:68787:25003:2>
Unknown Location: <kuid2:68787:25274:2>
Unknown Location: <kuid2:68787:37500:2>

just change kuid2: in kuid: and remove the last :2.

The kuid2 version off these assets don't exist.

Problem solved

To anyone chasing the cane stuff in 2ft gauge I downloaded the g max files from the creators web site and fixed a few issues but still are not 100% correct so if you PM me I will send you off a beta of them for testing but will be 06 only, I did send a couple of them out and was waiting a reply to any issues so they can be fixed but haven't heard anything back so a couple of beta testers would be welcomed.

T377 is spotted arriving into Sometown station. Apparently traffic along the line had increased, so it was decided that catch points and point indicators were needed.

1800-down-goods-02.jpg

After shunting, T377 is seen passing the newly installed point indicator at the down end of the yard.

T377 is later spotted crossing Some River...

Further on, and the train is seen rounding a large sweeping bend before hitting a nice long straight section of line.

Now roaring along the straight, the train is seen crossing the driveway into one of the houses beside the line... Seems the owners enjoyed adding some vegetation to the lineside here...

Another view of the driveway...

The year is the 67 and the remaining few Garrats have been put onto Coal duty's on the short north. Here we see 6042 and 6023 hauling(with much difficulty ) a 1200 ton coalie up Photobank as its know by the local trainspotting community.

40 years later just 100 metres down the line we see a regular 80+ coal train lead by three 90 classes drift downgrade as the Northern Tablelands Exploder flies past.

If only the trains were 10 minutes late ( Like every other time ) i would of gotton a great sunset photo with the light coming through the tree's.

Ok guys maybe you can help me here, I know that some of my computer hardware is reasonably old, well actually most of it :hehe: . For me most of it is doing a reasonable job, in games and Trainz, and other software.

However on the forum I have seen a problem (I think it is a problem) and I am using the above screenshots as an example. Both of them to me look very dark, in fact the second one is almost so dark that I can hardly see anything. I can make out the trains but the scenery is to dark. On other screenshots (in other threads) I can see quite well, so I am not sure if there is a problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

Craig

Hello Craig,
not sure this is going to help you as I have a new 22 inch LCD, however both shots are dark, lower has stars in the sky. It is also the darkest, but I can see gum tree trunks grass on banks, and the trains are pretty clear for a night shot. People sitting in the exploder but not the crew in the engine.
Cheers

Well my main question is answered, I am not the only one seeing rather dark screenshots, thanks very much Rod. I can see some of the items you mentioned now that I know where to "look" :hehe: . Can not see the stars but the other items I can just make out.

Maybe I should have mentioned that the screenshots (above) by S301 are not to bad, and the ones by Muliebuck are all OK. That is why I have not been to sure.

I do plain an upgrade early next year when some money becomes available to me.

Many thanks,

Craig

You will notice a big difference, Craig.
My new machine has given me a very big jump in performance. But don't leave it too long as the Aussie dollar is falling, ram prices are very low ($150 for 4 gig) and the intel quad 4 chips are very cheap just now.
I got my 22 inch monitor for $295, and although it is not a big brand "Hardly Normal" gave it a three year warranty for me. My IT guy tells me you can get a good computer today with 19" LCD under $1000. An upgrade to a trainz winning graphics card less than $200 extra.
He said this $1200 machine should cost $2000 in the next 6 months or so, as our dollar falls back and the Chinese revalue their currency about 25% This has to happen because they cannot pay their mineral resource debts to Countries like Australia.
Might be a good time to take "Hardlies" interest free deal (100 months!! on TV last night) :hehe:
Cheers
