I like your tunnel mouths and the timber texture. BUT! where did you get the trees to cut those baulks. I think they are very much out of scale.

Ghosty and Guy. Here is the link: http://750mm.trainzup.com/?p=232 I use Google Chrome so it automatically translates the Russian text into English :)

Guy remember to rename the folder to anything with English characters then import it into your Content. As Ghosty's screenshots prove, it's perfect track for any Queensland layout.

Cheers,
Kent

hey all,

I reckon the russian track is quit a good looking track for a QR layout. personally though, I think the ballast is a bit to wide. ballast doesn't really spread that much out of the track.

Over the last couple of months I started a project of making some genuine Aussie scenery items. Aussie stockmen on horses, cattle dogs, and Aussie people. Also Brahman cattle. The first part of this was 3 Oz windmills. What response did they get here? Not much, the standout and maybe the only response was a rather abusive post that they weren't available on the DLS. Thanks for the hours I'd put in making them. Now started on an Aussie digger war memorial. However I'm really wondering if there'd be all that much interest in any of these given the attitude here that if it's not a loco or at least a piece of rolling stock it's not worth much at all. I suppose people are content to keep on using cowboys and farmers in overalls on Oz routes. Very depressing really. this screenshot hasn't anything to do with this post just a route I made with crap speedtrees. If there's any genuine interest in this project I'd like some response otherwise I won't bother.

Falcon,

Sounds like some nice new assets. Will be looking forward to the Australian Stockman on horse, cattle dogs and aussie people. I am getting a bit sick of American looking item's as trees and people.

i agree with littler bondi
Aussie people and aussie stuff should be on aussie routes.
i've been searching far and wide on the net for people i can use on my mid 19th century fassifern valley line

there's not much out there

cheers

Yeppers that's kind of put a dampener on a lot of things i feel but anyway no more on that. I am just going to concentrate on what i want for my projects now Falcon so i suggest you do the same if you really want these items for your route then make them and now and then show a pic of your project with those particular items and if there's a interest in them so be it if there isn't a interest in them then you will of at least made sum thing for your self. Personally i don't need Stockmen or horses but the War Memorial i would like too see for sure my Route is more the modernish type so yeah i could find a place for it. And the DLS only folk be dammed put YOUR content where YOU want ( meaning host it where you want lol)
Cheers Mick.

Another point has just been anounced.

Misterchugg, How's the route going, I have been looking forward to it. Anyway, I am mdelling the Beaudesert Branch and have been getting quit anoyed about all these American looking people on the route. It would be great for someone to make a whole bunch of Aussie people for all australian modelers to use on our routes. Like how many people do you see walking around Boonah, Beaudesert, Ipswich with business suits on. I mainly see people in thongs, shorts and singlets and some with even beards walking around. Anyway, I am going to start with gmax soon after I learn how to build stuff and I will see what I can do about it. By the way, Does anyone know any good tutorials on how to make stuff for trainz in gmax. I have searched everywere but can't find any good ones.

-Cheers
