Love the shots Trent, my favourite would have to be the airport scene!
Axe, I'm really looking forward to running on your TS12 route, I have really enjoyed each shot you post! :)

@Taggy, Thanks for the comment mate, The landing plane is static (Doing a David Copperfield and floating in position) but I hope to actually put in some actual coming and going aircraft on two locations in my route to add alittle more realism to it) And love the shot you posted. I grew up in the surrounding areas for 30+ years.

@NSWGR_46Class, I myself like the Grey 620/720's as well. I use them a lot on my route.

Question for all us Aussies : Traffic lights, I am yet to find anything decent for Aussie routes, what are people using (If at all) for them? Static are fine, dont need actual working ones. I am tinkering in 3DSMax, but just havent had the time to spend doing them being I am still got "3DSMax L plates" on and my route takes most my Trainz time currently

Cheers

Trent

Trent,
Sounds good mate! I love how your line is coming along.
Im glad you liked it, the longer I look at this line the more I'm convinced it looks so primitive. So its nice to have others comment on it. :)

C38nsw,
Its called: 'Concrete Platform Spline' and its built into Trainz. :)

A few shots of a Modular route ( KUID:412138:1125 ) that Mattm allowed me to add into my route. Well mate this section is just about peachy, so thought I chuck a few shots up for you to see and hopefully approve of :)

Eastern Entry/Exit

Semi used Steam refueling station. (Self noted, I haven't fixed the sidewalk in this shot, disregard how it comes this far down :hehe: )

Main industry

Maintenance area

Station and Township

Western entry/Exit

@Mattm :- Sir I hope taking it from some track layout to what it is, comes to your approval Matt, as it was a great track design for what I wanted :) (I slightly changed a few sidings to fit a few structures etc here and there, but other than that the Track work is all Mattm's hard work.)

Bit annoyed why I am getting such low quality screenshots, running twin 680GTX and I would of thought my screenshots would be a lot sharper than what they are, in-game it looks so crisp. Oh well I shall sort it, Endone pain relief and Trainz is a fun experience :)

Cheers

Trent

Saying your route needs work to achieve realism isn't annoying, it's constructive.

I don't have a problem, I could not give two $h!ts about your route. I go to school and I also do assignments. The difference is, I get a lot more.

Stevo thinks I'm low, but he says my track is sophisticated

Who did and whats the kuid of that georgous S class 4-6-2?

At this stage, the S class isn't available. I've never really been happy with the model, so have only released it to a few friends to play with. I do intend to build a whole new S class model in future, however I have no idea when this will happen. Hopefully fairly soon though :)

DD 584 steams past the distant signal at Lilydale with a Healesville bound passenger service.

A short walk later, and we see DD 584 being held prior to arriving at Lilydale. The train sat here for quite a while, due another train shunting in the yard.

Zec, off topic but a one time thing, do you ever plan to do PBR content? I know there is some avalible, but I'd like to see how great you can do at making some, specifically G42? I use a fair few bits and pieces of your content on a Aubury melbourne fic layout I'm working on and it looks great. Anyways back on topic.

Hi Eno
I would eventually like to give an NA and some rolling stock a go. Puffing Billy is my 'local' (about 20min walk from here; and also where I spend most Wednesday evenings :) ), so I would definitely like to give them a go. However, not for quite some time. I currently want to get the next set of DD class locos (the type 2) finished, then have a few other projects (2 locos, plus some rolling stock) that I want to work on, along side the 'type 3' DD class locos (finally get to a reasonable number range with them!). After that, it'd hopefully be the S class (or maybe an H class? hmmmmm...), and then possibly VR NG :)

But no promises, I work on projects as I get inspiration, so yeah :)

Hi Trent,

Try taking your screenshots in open GL as Joosten has done this with screenies of his payware Canadian Rockies layout and they look real to life shots ;)

Cheers

Speaking of nA's, here's one that might get some eyebrows raised.

been working on it for some time, little bits here and there, low priority though, I also need to be in the mood for 3d modelling though, sometimes I'll load 3ds max, then I'll close it after it loads as I'm not in the mood, lol

Cheers.

I dunno, Azza, the hipster NAs weren't for me, if you get what I mean :p
I look forward to it though (of course!) and hopefully it will evolve into the other 15 expansion NAs :hehe:

Trent,

Much appreciate your shout-out to me, as the original author of that particular section of route, however I think you can claim a bit of credit for yourself here. It's much improved on the original form, and looks fantastic. I'm happy that someone was able find a use for what was, really, a failed attempt at a small route. I just can't hang in long enough to scenic a route to the point where a driver has more to look at than a few scattered textures and the odd road with few buildings clustered round it, which supposedly represents a town!

One of these days I'll get it done.

Edit: Just looked the route in question for the first time in ?? Wasn't even on my system, had to grab it from DLS. You deserve a heap more credit than I thought LOL. You have worked wonders mate, no need to mention my name, i'm happy for you to claim full credit for the work shown. :) Stunning work.

Matt.
