aussie bushfire

G'day all.
After about 6 years of trainz, I've finally statred on a large route themed aust
All my work so far has been 1-5 grids which I enjoy making auto sessions on.
Now I want realism like murchis or S$C and others.
I want a aussie type bushfire and nothing in installed in either 10 or 12 is a large enough scale.
There are textures and trees that I can use but very little in the way of fire.
It doesn't have to be ash wednesday but the scale and ferocity of a bushfire is horrendous. I wonder if anyone has some ideas that I can use.
Burnt out houses and vehicles, burning tree's, firefighters, aircraft, engines etc etc. What do you think of the idea?

Sorry Baz, but I've been too close to the real thing. Like car and train wrecks, some things are just best left out of Trainz...

Interesting idea but I do have to ask do you have a permit for your fire .

:hehe: :hehe: :hehe: :hehe:

There is some fire assests that suit but not a great deal there, is a fire smoke effect that you can drop in a line to cause a running fire front.

Natvander was working on typical aussie fire trucks, including mine but had a hard drive crash and could not recover the files and went no further. search the aussie screen shots for examples of his work might still be there.

I think AD602000 has done one fire tuck and a shed at some stage.

Interesting replies.Bearcat. I'll apply for one with a ticket. The smoke effect would need many of them and I don't seem to be able to move or delete them.
Dermmy. Sorry to hear that. They are bad. I don't think one in trains will actually damage anything.
Pev. Thank you. I shall look see.

YEP. Found it. It's a small route by misterchugg. The effects are good and will do the job.
I'll bury a couple of those large chimneys in the ground to get a better smoke effect. Strangely, there's an exact copy in the name of nicolino on the station.
Anyway, it has animated fire engines and the burning of the bush. No moses tho. Mayby someone can make him carrying the tablet. Just joking fellas.

I remember doing a field fire with animated flames and smoke in the early days for UTC. The effect was really for stubble burning in a field, so not really up to your desire for a forest fire.

Flame animation is perhaps the hardest effect to get as you need a lot of frames to make it look realistic. Ill play with some ideas :) and give it some thought.

Kessica. That would be good. No need to do it just for me tho. I will see how it goes with what i've found. Thanks.

For the life of me, I just can't understand why any Australian who has witnessed those bush fires, would want to replicate them !

Next thing you know, we'll have Cornish trainzers wanting an animated scenario of the Boscastle floods.
Or how about someone making a scenario of the death trains taking Jews into Auchwitz camp ? :n:

Some people need to realise that among the comunity on this forum, there may be people that would be highly distressed by these sort of scenarios.

i cant find the one by nicolino

hi blackwatch

when i originally made the route
it was to show friends and relatives what australia had to put up with

there was never any offence meant

these things are natural disaster that happen here in australia every year,

Fair go blackwatch. With all the games on the market about peoples shooting everybody and everything around, I think a bushfire (simulated) is very tame.
I'm not putting in peole running around with their clothes on fire.
baz
Baz youv'e done it again. What's a peole.
