Auran - Will access to forums change?

Maybe I've missed it somewhere in all of the discussions about the DLS and access to it without a supported version of Trainz or a FCT. I'm sorry if it's been discussed and I haven't seen it.

Will access to the fourm be impacted if a member doesn't have a supported version?

As I understand it, you will no longer be able to upload stuff made for prior to TS2009 to the DLS. If you are working on your masterpiece in a version prior to TS2009, get a hold of TS2009 (or 10) and transfer it to that version and then upload it to the DLS, right?

Yes......................

I read two conflicting September DLS changes whereas one the DLS will just not accept older version content, but available for dowload for free or two the DLS will not accept older version content and in order to have access to it you will be required to have a FCT.

From what I understand, only the version-specific forums will be affected.

As for the DLS, I have a feeling that TS2009/10 or an FCT may be needed (I don't know about using the FTP option though - that may be the best option (or use Trainz Downloader Pro)

I have read on the forums that changing the trainz-build tag may allow it to be uploaded - but it is not certain.

Thanks Chris. I had missed that before, but since my question is now answered, you should probably close this thread. There are enough debate threads already out there.
