atls traffic stopper , i need help

ok guys i can read and follow instructions pretty good, i have alot of rr crossings with my current route i am building , i have my atls controller , trigger, track stoppers, eraser ect.. i have my track stoppers sitting right on top of my track erasers but my cars are not stopping and continue to drive through my trains as they pass my with the gates down, is there a video tutorial or can someone explain what i am doing wrong?

The set up depends on the crossing asset you are using. If you are using a non ATLS type crossing asset then you need to attach the slave and road to the crossing only. The track must not attach to the crossing but pass over it. The slave acts like a train when the triggers are passed and operates the gates and stops the traffic.
If you create your own crossing from various ATLS assets then you need to attach the road and slave to the traffic stopper.
