Assets for UTC

Recently I came across a post concerning the availability of assets, for UTC, from "STEAMMACHINE". I found, and downloaded several very nice locomotives. Unfortunately, when I attempted to download some of the other assets, the following message appeared: "PackageManager::Read>Not an archive file". I do not know what this means. Is there anything that can be done to download the assets with this message?

What are the file extensions of the downloaded files, .rar or .zip or ?

When I look up the "properties" they are shown to be "Content Dispatcher Pack" (.cdp) files.

Have you tried to do a download and save as to put them in a temp folder? Then use CM3.3 Import CDP to install them.

It seems that the files in question may be "zip" files. I did manage to get them into a .zip format, but when I tried to extract the information all I got was a message that "there is nothing to extract". At this point I think I will give it up as a bad job. I did manage to get some great locomotives and some rolling stock. Thank you very much for your help.

If they're already in .cdp format you can import them using CM. Which site at steammachine did you download from and give me the name of one of the files and I'll try one, just for laughs .

The site is: http--steammachine.com-prowler- it take you to: San Juan Trainz Workz. The path I took was: Downloads/Locomotives and rollingstock/Trainz UTS SP3. There were a few that wouldn't down load, a couple were: 36crshayfinal1 and 36_black_coal_fired_climax. Under the "structures", the ones that I tried to load were: Ridgeway Depot and NG Roundhouse and Turntable.
