asset errors

Do tag errors affect an assets performance? Usually all I have to do to fix them is delete the line in the config file with the tag error in it. I downloaded 3 different 3 bay hoppers made by CNR, 2 CN rail and 1 BN, and they all use MFX assets made by Wulf_9. The mfx asset has a bunch of tag errors and when I delete the lines for some reason it screws up the asset and it won`t work properly. It works fine with the tag errors in place. Even cloning the asset won`t work because it won`t let me use the new kuid # in the config file for the hopper. So, I`m just wondering if I even need to bother fixing tag errors? If they don`t slow down the game when used then I won`t bother fixing them.
 
What are the errors? Perhaps in your editing, you're removing a curly bracket too many and mixing up the configuration file.

The errors are: the tags 'effectdata', 'mfxgroups', and 'script_version' is not permitted within this container (container type "library") If I make changes to the config file all the stuff at the bottom disappears (asset name, author name, etc.) It seems like he`s made the file so that it screws up if you make changes to the config file? Effectdata and mfxgroups are both within curly brackets and script version is in the opening few lines at the top. I`m wondering if all I have to do is change the container type but if so change it to what?
