I have noticed some problems while playing TRAINZ simulator 2 for the iPad. One being that the bell doesn't work on several engines ones like the sd40-2 and the gp38-2. It is really frustrating and I hope it will be fixed in the next update. Another one is that there is no way to change weather water is smooth, choppy, or rough like in TRAINZ 1. Other then that the game is so much better then TRAINZ 1 and I have already recommended it to some of my friends.

So I have some suggestions that I think would make TRAINZ 2 the best train sim ever. My idea is that if you add two more sd40-2s and some new train cars to go with them then it would change the game. I was thinking one of the sd40-2s could be a CSX with yn3 paint and another could be Union Pacific and you could add some new cars like a black tanker car and a container car. And you could put it in pay ware and call it the American freight pack or something.

Damn it! Put Trainz Simulator 2012 and Train Simulator 2 in android please, it is not everyone who has Ipad. Would greatly appreciate it if you do what I say in this comment.

I've searched through the forum but I am still not sure about Android port of Trainz Simulator 2. Will it eventually be released? I enjoyed Trainz on my Android when it was new but it lacks so many features that the desktop and second iPad-only version have. And since I still can't enjoy full-featured-desktop game on my Linux PC there is nothing else I can play but this "lite" version of Trainz.

i loaded trainz 2 into my ipad .. i have 3 questions...

1. why isn't the app synced to my itunes library ?

2. why was the cost deducted from my bank account and not my itunes account ?

3. does this mean if i upgrade my ipad i will lose the app ?

I experienced that too. You can change it via quick drive. There will be the usual sections, such as trains, drivers, etc. you should see one of these that says environment. That has all the stuff you need to change the date, weather, and time. It is easy to do, exept for the date which doesn't really work. Remember, in order to change the time successfully, ad an am or pm after time, and tap the apply new time button. You should be all good to go. Have fun!

I think that another gp38 would be great, as well as a gp9. I thought a Central Vermont gp9 would be great, but maybe not because of it being a lesser known railroad. A pan am and a gill ford gp40 (using the gp38 body) and a pan am sd40-2 would be pretty fantastic. Some auto racks, intermodal double stacks, and modern ge units would finish things up nicely, in ns, up, and csx livery. Whatever road the gp9 would be, I think it would be a good loco. I think the up and csx sd40-2s would be awesome, and a black tanker would really set the scene right, as I've never seen a tank car for penn salt and am much more familiar with the black.

Me too. Trying to enter my registration details for planet auran/my trainz on ipad trainz1 for my 7 year old and very frustratingly receive "no valid cd key for this product". Clearly I don't have a serial number for the product to enter on the website. Is there an answer to this?

I want to ask that anyone know that this Trainz Simulator 2 for iPad or Android have electric loco or electric trains, because they already had given catenary lines in previous Trainz Simulator in apple as well as android version.

I have a few questions that I hope someone can help me with. 1) when I log in to download content on iPad it states can not download from safari. Also can you download content on to iPhone where I play it while killing time when iPad not with me. Also how can I download custom engines like GE Genesis P32AC-DM. Or shorelines coaches. I see on you tube people have created and downloaded the content. Or is that not available on mobile app and only on desktop / laptop ?

Using Trainz on an Ipad (not Trainz 2) get the same error message that a CD key is needed. How do i solve this issue?

I have used Trainz before without any issues but i have had this issue for a couple of months. Due to limited usage of the Trainz app and the assumption that it was a use error i have not addressed it until now, any suggestions?
