Hellow to all i know im away from Trainz many years now but i leave here a Video demo for Auran in the future implement Dinamic Physics for Trainz.
I have be Envolved in this field some time ago in Spintires and inside Unity3d engine, many works i made with vehicles leads to ultra realistic look of this models, for example if wee have dinamic cranes wee really can manipolate this heavy peaces of hardware inside the game for load containers and other stuff.
What is a dinamic Physics Crane?, basicly is a all model setup with bones and skined or not who can be controled by Keyboard as a real interative machine moving the arms rotate and grabing the containers and put inside the transport wagons all controled or maned by yourself and not a automatic animation from the engine.
I have now a very deep knolgement of dinamic physics vehicles, i know how to setup them inside 3dmax and also inside unity and other engines. Maybe is time to Auran give a big step in direction to the Future in this field?
I work with a smoal Team and wee create many demos of this physics vehicles, im very sorry for put here the links of a none related Trainz game but is the only way i have to show you what i mean.
Maybe is time from you all request directly to Auran what you want to see in the future of Trainz and request this for the Engine, im available to Help Auran me and my Team if nead it and if they really goes forward with this in the future of this Magnific game.
I know probably Trainz engine maybe is not prepared for take this physics but how hard is implement that in engine i really dont know but say here wath you think about that please...
