Today I went out and took a few pics of a steam loco. C17 974 hauled some steel passenger wagons (SX set 45) from Ipswich to Sandgate/Shorncliffe.

This event was run in conjunction with the Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race.

Been a bit quiet round here, but went out this morning to see Duchess of Sutherland on her way to York. Taken between Pontefract Baghill and Ferrybridge on the Swinton and Knottingley line. --- By Craig as his shot is better than mine! --- Again.

Went down to Bescot today to grab a few pictures of 55022 Royal Scots Grey running through light engine.

92002 passed through about 30mins later on with a northbound working. I heard later on it failed a few miles further down the line at Bushbury junction.

I got a text of a mate about this, I then had a quick look on wnxx.com forums to see if they had more detailed times, which they did. Allot of people sign up to various yahoo groups to get information on train timings.
