Time Outttt! I cannot believe that you was caught #2580 Conrail (NS Patched) SD70!!!! So you are lucky man because I was caught them like at last year before at Delmarva Secondary during late night time and were train was 66V it empty of stones cars and they taken to Enola, Pa....

thanks, im not good at centering things in the center of my viewfinder, i think it has something to do with the delay and the viewfinder being lcd(shutting off as i press the button....)

On 7th August 1979 I walked the disused line from Cheltenham to Gotherington and pictured Cheltenham Racecourse station.The track was later ripped up but has now been relaid by the GWR and the station is back in use...

Nice photos all. I taken quite a lot of rail and train photos over the last two months so here's some of them.

Some from 8th and 9th Febuary, 13th Febuary and Friday.

Pengam on Friday

142077 arrives at Pengam with the Bargoed to Penarth train on Friday.

143610 prepares to leave with the slightly late 12:40 service to Aberdare also on Friday.

150213 about to leave Newbridge with a Cardiff service on the newly reinstated Ebbw Valley Line.
And on the 8th Febuary

The Drams at Masycymmer again.

150241 leaves Hengoed.

And in the oppisite direction 142073 Mafawry leaves for Penarth.

And a rail shot from the 9th feb taken from the Taff footpath that runs right along side the freight only Taff Bargoed branch for a few miles.

Managed to rouse myself early to get to Oxenhope for the beginning of the celebrations..Minus 5 or 6 and bright sun, rare opportunities had to be grasped...

There is no beating frost and steam...
