only one I know of is the one built into TR12 and there also a Multiplayer session for it called Acela Multiplayer on DLS.

Why not either A: get an overhead-wire route and add amtrack stuff to it, or B: get an amtrak route, and add wires.

There are various people working on their own versions of the Northeast Corridor, which is home to the Acela Express. Since it is such a long route, you can expect the project to take many years. Look at the UMR, for example. This route has been growing steadily since the very beginning of Trainz, occasionally swapping out content for compatibility with newer versions of the simulator. It's almost as long as the NEC, but since it's entirely fictional and is set in a more rural environment, the scenery is less dense. You may find that the NEC, with its urban setting, will be heavier on scenery and more time-consuming to lay out.

You also have to take into account branching railroads that many users will enjoy seeing - for example, the New Haven Railroad, which separates from the NEC at New Rochelle, NY to head west while the NEC diverges south; the New Haven Line commuter branches which diverge at Stamford, Norwalk, and Milford, CT; the Springfield/St. Albans line, which splits off near New Haven, CT and hosts the Vermonter and Springfield Regional/Shuttle services by Amtrak; and the various branches of the SEPTA Commuter Railroad.

Go to the Download Station and search "Northeast Corridor". Not many people know about these 2 but the are great. The ones by farejoint are downright amazing:D

I hope this helps everyone else that is lookin for a NEC route.;)

Its about time someone put a thread on this topic. all trainz route makers are making routes no one even knows, like in ohio or something, and no NEC routes or routes that anyone knows. The DLS is stacked with australian outback routes but no north east corridor. There are also no good subway routes, so i'm making one and uploading it in a few months.

Where can you find the acela train, I can't find the damn thing, I've been looking for a while now. :(
