Back to Lennox & Eastern...decided to make a big change a kill the route south to Madison from Monroeville, and continue west instead.
Here we are eight or so miles east of Panalon.

Some work done on Elizabeth, a microcity packed with industrials.
Train #250, empty autos from Merced Bay, heads east through town with a toasted NS Dash 8 and a UP Dash 9 leading, bound for the UP in Central City.
After waiting at Arcadia for the autoracker, #275 makes his move westward with SOO 6045 and CP 6068.

Trial Runs of Amtrak trains #355 and #356, the Paloma City Star, have begun on the Lennox & Eastern. Trains make about two hours between Lennox and Julianna so far.
Here #356, the eastbound, blasts through Carthridge in the first shot while making a flag stop at Yemaya in the second shot.
