Appleby shunting how to load cattle

I still have lots to learn with Trainz Railroad Simulator 2019 and have been having some trouble with the Appleby shunting when it comes to loading the cattle. Does anyone know how to exactly load the cattle into these BR 8T cattle wagons? Whenever I bring the cattle wagons to the siding next to where the cattle are within the white fence. They won't load in, and I cannot find the surveyor mode thingy in the session.

Hi,
I suspect that the problem is related to the use of TS2019 (or 2022!).
I've tried that session in TANE, TS2019, TS2022. If I use TANE, the cattle wagons are loaded at the start of the session and they are then unloaded.
Tane uses "Cattle 6" for the load. Both 2019 and 2022 don't have this commodity.

I'll investigate a bit further, but I suspect that the "cattle 6" commodity needs to be added to both, then the cattle wagons updated to add "cattle 6" to their config, then the unloading docks checked to see if they will manage the commodity.

Cheers,

Colin

Edit - The commodity "Cattle" is built-in to Tane... That means it's not available for download from the dls, so it will need another (suitable) commodity......

Hi,
TS19 test initiated....
The cattle wagons and the destination pens are setup correctly, however, the cattle wagons should be loaded at the start of the scenario.
Without reworking the scenario do the following:-
At the start of the scenario, make sure the consist is stationary.
Click on one of the cattle wagons, then crtl + right click
This brings up the wagon properties. Scroll down to the allowed loads, then adjust the initial load to "6" (you may need to allow editing).
Next use the big arrow to copy the load to all similar vehicles.
Restart the scenario.

Final update:
In TANE, the session starts with the cattle wagons loaded. The session runs ok, the cattle are delivered to the three destinations with the animations working.
In TS19, TS22, Trainz plus, the cattle commodity used in the original session isn’t available. The cattle wagons and delivery pens are set up for a cattle commodity, but the cattle wagons are not automatically loaded. Using the “edit session in surveyor” option allows one to load the cattle with cattle. This will allow the manual session to be run and completed. The “Ride” session, for some reason, halts at startup and requires the “continue” option.
