Search for "Class 101" on the DLS. Make sure you download Pikkabirds originals at the bottom of the page, and then pick up any re-skins you fancy. They're not industry active as they are quite old, but you can make them carry invisible passengers with TrainzObjects...

p.s. No idea about the volume issue... sorry!

"they seem to play louder than the diesel engines"

If you stand on the platform whilst both diesel & steam loco`s go past, the steamer will be louder, this is due to all the working paraphernalia being external on a steam loco, but everything is enclosed on a diesel.
Plus the blast from a steamers chimney is a lot more powerful. :)

Thanks guys................got the 101's now (I'm new to TRS and had great fun in bringing all the bits of the DMU's together!!! ) - I use the ftp method - at least you have the control over what's going on........ once you've worked it all out :D

point taken re the steamers......I would still like to lower the sound a bit, if it's possible.

.....and one more.....

can't find any Blackpool 'Balloon' trams on DLS - really surprised that the've not been modeled yet - anyone know any different?

Cheers

Speaking of sound makes me think of Hawes Junction. It's always raining there and the rain is louder than the train. That don't seem right but I don't know what to do about it.
