Not interested in the latest graphics gimmicks / patches from N3V that broke the older content or the hunt for missing assets . I just want to enjoy the game .

( or should i return back to MSTS / Open Rails )

You should find that all my TRS19 and later routes should work in TRS22 Platinum. They use only built-in and Download Station assets.

If you do get a missing dependency message you will need to use Content Manager to download the latest version of that dependency that is available from the DLS. See here:

Thread 'philskene routes & layouts -- missing dependencies'

I've been fiddling around in TRS19 with SP5 with some of my Download Station routes and layouts.

Despite taking great care when making them and checking them before uploading to the Download Station, Content Manager now shows missing dependencies. Some of the missing dependencies are absolutely critical, for instance track and switch stands.

There is a work around to capture the missing dependencies:
Open Content Manager / select route / right click / List Dependencies​
New screen / Sort by Status​
“Unknown location” and “Not Installed, Payware” / select all / right click /...​

If you want to see details of the routes and layouts before deciding to download them I do a reasonably detailed write up in the Forums. Like this:


Do and advance search of the Forums using "philskene".

Edit -- better still, use Content Manager to search for routes by author "philskene" and then search the Forum by the name of the route that you might want to install.

If you've just got the TRS2022PE bundle then I can tell you that
Tristyn District GWR Rev 1. (TRS19) <kuid2:149790:100153:1>​
will work straight out of the box.
