Hello,

It may sound a bit negative, but when will we see the passenger TLR?
Actually all I would like to see is a timetable for each train, an editable timetable. Timetables likes the ones we had 20 years ago, before we had the web as the only source. But then one that I can edit.
I see releases coming, but yes, the smartphone generation seems to be the primary focus of the company, understandable, but it hurts.

Not sounding negative at all. I would say, as a guess, when it is ready.

That would be nice, although pguy's timetable rule is very good. In recent updates I appear to have lost the ability to actually pick up passengers though.

Thanks for the replies.
I was not aware of pguy's rule (although I once downloaded it). It seems to me that it requires the use of EIT paths and mission codes all over the route. On the route in which I would like to try timetables, I use EIT only in a limited number of situations, where I found it to be helpful to keep the trains going.
But maybe the setting of paths will be inevitable, in the TLR system as well when it eventually arrives.

The TLR system is keyed on moving commodities from a producer to a consumer. While passenger stations do produce and consume passengers, the train movement is more of drive a passenger train from station A to station F stopping at Stations B, C, D, and E along the way loading and unloading passengers as needed. While this is fairly simple to program using driver commands, I struggle to think of how within the framework of what we have seen so far you could get TLR to do it.

TLR is an option only, it is not mandatory. It is also only available in Trainz Plus. If it was mandatory this could possibly create problems for routes created in Trainz Plus that are run in TRS22.

Oops! I didn't explain properly! I was referring to old stations (AJS or Andy06), which might not work with the new system, so new ones need to be created.
In the first version of TLR, for example, there are new industries.
