C chuffbuff Member Jul 30, 2008 #21 Norton should be well known by now to stuff up your systems registry files & thus create a mixed bag of other malfunctions as stated above. Sounds like Ad-aware doesn't it!!! My opinion of Avast is ..well...ummm.. pretty reliable.
