Hi,
Yes. Your physical ram total should show 3.5 Gigs. I have 4 Gigs installed, but my ram total only shows 3.5 Gs. I found out about XPs limitation after purchase.

Hello, I just read the announcement of the TS2009 website that there will be a new release with thousands of items and routes and stuff. Will this all be new stuff?
 
That depends which versions of Trainz you have purchased in the past. The majority of content in World Builder is pre-released content from 2004/2006/2007 and TC1. That said, in 2009 you can drive the routes with a 5km draw distance, upgrade the track, tell Drivers where to go with greater accuracy, replace the stock with new high resolution content as it becomes available etc.

there is new content comeing out every week on the DLS for instance Iv been wanting the real blue pullman for ages and now its there for all to enjoy.

I have to say that people that are rude like yourself both to the other fellow Trainz lovers and against those hardworking Auran staff trying their best to give us a new an great experience do not get my respect. People like that are of course not interested in me returning them with respect.

I really think people like this should go some other place and hang out, as I really do not think this is the right hobby for them if they can not see the good in things and only the bad stuff.

Regarding TRS2009 I’m sure there are plenty of man-hours spent on it from Auran’s side. Tweaking the code, add new features and further develop the already existing features. The list is a statement from Auran’s side to this. And not everything can be felt and seen. From previous experiences with Auran staff I can assure you they take this community serious even if they are not as outgoing and open as the first year of Trainz. But than we also had a community that really wanted to bring out the best of what it had to offer. For that I miss the earlier days and the nearly non existing rudeness.

Please be kind to everyone, support Auran in the work of bringing Trainz to the people and bringing it to new heights for every version. If we do not support it, it will die and we will lose something great.

Let us all together make this the best community and the best hobby in the world. Let us all be kind to each others.

Underage Commentary

The forum has failed to erase the foul message and ban its author. Allowing ill-mannered children to practice new found words here is disgusting. All that message shows is a need for professional anger management counseling. The author has serious issues and they have nothing to do with trains.
 
Most forums have this problem once in a while. Doesn't usually take long to clean out though, either that or they get bored and leave anyway.

Sadly this poster comes along every weekend stirring up trouble until his new IP is banned. I've tried discussing issues with him but his goal is solely to provoke reactions from other forum users.

I wish we could contact his family and see that he gets some professional help as he has an unhealthy dislike of anything related to Auran.

Of course he will post in reply to this that I am the one who is need of help. At least I have the "delete post" button which gives me a significant edge in winning any forum arguments :)

Perhaps we need to introduce registered serial numbers for forums posting after all.

Im thinking of getting the DVD because my boradband spped is so slow it would take til Xmas to download.

My PC specs are
NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS
RAM 2.00GB
32 bit

Not being technically minded are these specs good enough.:confused:
 
My question is will it work with M$'s Vista OS. I would love to get back to doing layouts again, but want something that won't pull my hair out, what little of it I still got left.

so even if you ban his IP he finds a new one. sounds like hes using a IP proxy or whatever its called to hack into here
