Amtrak routes?

Hello there isn't as far as I know, but I am making a route that runs near amtrak(NJT a commuter route) that will have some amtrak stuff.

hmmm well im working on a Route well it's Mainly based on my local Area in Philladelphia But it might "if i decide to add it" have a good Portion of the NEC on it

there is an "watered-down" version of part of the NEC on the DLS. with another one in the works. there are several other Amtrak routes in the works as well. There are also some non-amtrak routes that work quite nicely wth amtrak equiptment on them.

If anyone is interested, I have the pacific surfliner route based on the HOG "surf" terrain that was uploaded to the DLS a while ago. All the track is layed, signals, some track marks, and grading is done from Union Station to San Diego.

I layed the track down as accurately as I could from google maps and MS live closeups. All the stations are there I believe including most if not all of the metrolink stations. I put down some bridges along the way, and dropped some signs on roads as I went by laying the track so I knew where I was, and I could go back and add the roads later.

I am no texture/scenery expert so I have not laid any of that down. If anyone is interested in it to check it out, finish it off, or improve it you're welcome to it.

The file is 30.6 MB, as I have not trimmed the baseboards that much to hug the route.

I spent many night hours over 5-6 weeks doing the work, mainly for my sons who love the route, and wanted to drive their trains on this route since we live here.

I also was a beta tester for SCS 2006 which I used to test some scenarios on this route, and it worked really well.

Send me a PM if you're interested.

Thanks to Mihalich and his fine work on the trackwork on this prototypical route that extends from Los Angeles to San Diago ( 196km ),I will now be doing the texturing and scenery for that layout. As things progress I will post screenshots. This will be for TRS2004 as I do not support 2006.
